The Adamawa State Government Tuesday gave the breakdown of ministerial allocations of twenty twenty two budget with office of the accountant general and ministry of works getting the lion share of 22.7 and 21 billion naira respectively.
Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri had on Thursday last week presented the budget estimate of N163, 629, 910, 040.00 to the Adamawa state House of Assembly for consideration.
The budget of sustainable hope has ninety eight point eight billion naira representing sixty percent as recurrent expenditure while sixty four point seven billion naira representing forty percent is allocated to capital expenditure.
Briefing newsmen in his office in Yola, the commissioner of Finance and Budget, Doctor Ishaya John Dabari said post primary schools management board twelve point five billion and internal affairs and special services nine point six billion naira.
Others, the commissioner said include Staff Pension Board; eight point six billion, State University Mubi; seven point four billion, ministry of health and human services; six point two billion, and State House of Assembly; five point two billion among others.
While revealing revenue performance of twenty twenty one budget, the commissioner said as at thirtieth September, the government has realized sixty three point ten and nine point eight percents of both recurrent and capital expenditures.
The Commissioner said in the next fiscal year, the 11 point agender of the present administration will be pursued to build the society while government will harness its internally generated revenue.
He assured that the present administration will continue to pursue the full implementation of the twenty twenty two Budget towards the improvement of the standard of living of the people.
