All Progressives Congress (APC) Stakeholders of Madagali Local Government (LG) area of Adamawa state has resolved to suspend their Chairman, Alhaji Umar Abubakar Yuguda over sundry allegations ranging to anti-party activities, alteration of delegates and negligence, disobedience in carrying out lawful directives of the party.

The stakeholders who are party officials from the ten political wards and the LG officials in a letter addressed to the state Chairman of the party, Alhaji Ibrahim Bilal using articles 21.2 (ii &iii) of the party's constitution said Yuguda has also engaged in sundry dishonest practices that his stay in the party cannot be any longer tolerated.

They also said Mallam Umar in recent times engaged in a campaign of calumny of criticism against APC leaders, praying that the Presidential candidate of the party, His Excellency Senator Ahmed Bola Tinubu die before the 2023 general election.

They accused Yuguda of an open anti parties in Madagali and thus said:

"His constant abuse of our party leaders does not end there but preaches hatred of the party to APC loyalists by telling them to defect to PDP because Senator Aishatu Ahmed Dahiru Binani being a woman will never defeat the incumbent Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.

'We are well informed that he collected money from the PDP and sold out the party mandate by discouraging voters and party supporters not to actively participate in the election."

Slamming a vote of no confidence on Yuguda by the Madagali APC stakeholders they said the allegations against him were well investigated in line with Article 21.3 and found him wanting.

"We have therefore suspended him indefinitely from the APC and as the Chairman of the party in Madagali Local Government area in line with Article 21.5 (e&f) of the APC Constitution (As amended 26th March 2022)

" That this resolution shall be henceforth forwarded to the state working committee for recommendation to the National Executive Committee (NEC) to expel Alhaji Umar Abubakar Yuguda from the party and as the APC Chairman of Madagali LGA in line with Article 21.5 (ii, iii &iv) of the APC Constitution as amended." The Letter stated.

The letter which carries all their signatures and phone numbers for proof of the collective decision bonded on them called the attention of the party-state leaders, and national leaders to look at it with all seriousness and urgency.

A petitioner also, Usman Ibrahim Chove added to the allegations by citing an open example of Yugudu's anti-party behavior when he was seen romancing Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri to the extent of having a meeting with him in Madagali that lasted for several hours.

He said their secret meeting was followed by Yuguda performing private functions with Governor Ahmadu in and outside Madagali Local Government.

When contacted by our correspondent in Yola, Mallam Yugudu replied that Yuguda said is not briefed and he won't commend on the issue.

"I'm hearing it from you and for the first time. I will not say anything until I'm well briefed." He said
